{Lemon, Thyme, & Parmesan Orzo}

{Ingredients} 1 Tbsp butter 1 cup orzo pasta 1 minced garlic clove 1¾ cups chicken broth  ⅓ cup grated Parmesan cheese 1 Tbsp fresh minced thyme leaves 1 tsp fresh lemon juice 1 tsp lemon zest ¼ tsp salt fresh ground pepper shredded cooked chicken {Instructions} Melt the butter over medium heat in a skillet. Pour the orzo in and stir until it is toasted. Add the minced garlic. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil on high heat. Then reduce to a low simmer and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until most of the liquid has been absorbed. Remove from heat and stir in cheese, chicken, thyme, lemon juice, zest, salt, and pepper. Serve.

{Baked Macaroni & Cheese}

{Ingredients} work in progress macaroni shells milk butter brie cheddar Monterrey jack Colby Gruyere dijon mustard pepper onion powder {Directions}

{Chicken, Bacon, & Spinach Alfredo}

{Ingredients} 6 strips bacon, crumbled 2 chicken breasts, shredded 5 ounces spinach 4 cloves garlic, minced 2 tsp salt 1 tsp pepper 5 cups milk 1 lb dry pasta 1 cup Parmesan cheese {Directions} Cook the bacon over medium-high heat until crispy. Add the chicken and cook until done. Remove the chicken. Saute the spinach, garlic, salt, and pepper with the bacon until the spinach has wilted.  Put the chicken back in, add the milk, then stir. Bring the milk to a boil, then add the pasta.Stir constantly for about 10 minutes, until the pasta is cooked. Add the Parmesan, then mix until the cheese has melted. Serve!

{Three Meat Lasagna}

{Ingredients} 1 package of lasagna noodles 1 bottle of pasta sauce or homemade sauce or a mixture of the two 1 package of mozzarella cheese 1 package of Italian cheese 1 package of cheddar cheese 1 lb hamburger 1 lb sausage 1 package pepperoni {Directions} Boil noodles even if they don't have to be boiled. Layer sauce then noodles. Then a layer of sauce, meat, then a mixture of cheeses. Repeat until there are three levels of noodles. Bake at 375 degrees until cheese on top is slightly browned. Approximately 45 minutes. Caveat: If Maddy does not make it, it may not be as fabulous.
